The Role
We are seeking a proactive IT professional who is comfortable wearing a few different hats. Your primary focus will be maintaining and updating our Shopify e-commerce store and managing the backend of our proprietary mobile web app. Alongside these core duties, you will act as the go-to person for day-to-day IT support queries from our staff.

Upload and manage product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, inventory levels, and high-quality imagery.
Update and maintain website content, including homepage banners, promotional pages, and collections.
Monitor website performance and troubleshoot any front-end or checkout issues.
Install, configure, and manage Shopify apps and integrations as needed.
App Administration:
Act as the primary administrator for our proprietary mobile web app.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and data within the app’s backend system.
Identify, replicate, and report any bugs or glitches to external developers.
Ensure data syncs correctly between the app, Shopify, and any other internal systems.
General IT Support:
Provide 1st-line IT support to a small team of staff (e.g., troubleshooting email access, printer issues, or software errors).
Manage basic hardware setup for new employees (laptops, phones, tablets).
Liaise with external tech vendors or software providers when issues escalate beyond internal capabilities.

E-commerce Experience: Proven experience managing a Shopify store (product uploads, inventory management, and basic theme customization).
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating custom or proprietary software and learning new admin dashboards quickly.
IT Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of general IT troubleshooting (Windows/Mac OS, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, network basics).
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and content management—essential for product pricing and specifications.
Problem Solver: Ability to diagnose digital issues logically and communicate them clearly to non-technical staff or external developers.
Bonus Points for:
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
Experience in the retail or furniture sector.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, email marketing platforms),
Staff discount on our furniture ranges.
A friendly, supportive small-business environment where your work makes a visible impact.
