Job summary
Are you a hands-on engineer with experience maintaining machinery, vehicles, plant, agricultural, ground care equipment? Stamford Groundcare Ltd is looking for a machinery engineer to join our team and help prepare, repair and maintain new and used ground care machinery.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will work mainly from our workshop, with occasional customer site visits, collections, deliveries and support at events or shows.
What you’ll do
· Service, repair and maintain a range of ground care machinery and related equipment.
· Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs to a high standard.
· Prepare new and used machinery for sale, service and customer handover.
· Complete job cards, service sheets and workshop records accurately.
· Provide friendly, professional customer service in the workshop and on site.
· Support collection & delivery, customer site repairs, events and shows when needed.
· Follow all health & safety and environmental procedures and keep the work area clean and tidy.
What we’re looking for
· Experience in maintaining ground care equipment and machinery
· Experience preferred in ground care sector
· A current driving licence.
· Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
· A practical, solution-focused approach and good attention to detail.
· Confidence working to deadlines, following procedures and completing records.
· Good communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
· Computer literacy and awareness of health and safety requirements.

· Salary: £45K per annum.
