We're looking for an Assistant Bridge Engineer – Design to join our Highways Procedure team based in Salford Quays, Manchester.
Location: Salford Quays, Manchester
Hours: 37 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join our Structures design team where you'll play a vital role in creating structures designs, drawings, reports and supporting documentation. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely with weekly office attendance to collaborate with your team, giving you a great balance between flexible working and valuable face-to-face time with colleagues.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Assistant Bridge Engineer – Design, you'll be working within the Structures design team, supporting them in delivering high-quality structures designs for local and national authorities. Your day to day will include:
- Preparing preliminary and detailed designs in accordance with approved design procedures
- Producing design drawings and technical documentation including Health, Safety and Welfare contract documentation
- Supporting the delivery of technical and feasibility studies that meet client specifications
- Conducting site investigations and analysing data including maps, reports, tests and drawings
- Contributing towards technical excellence and innovation across the team
