Shop Assistant – Join the Rokers Team!
At Rokers, we're a friendly, fast-paced and growing retailer specialising in quality animal feeds and pet supplies. We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, love being around pets, and don't mind getting stuck in, we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll be doing:
As part of our shop team, you'll help create a welcoming experience for every customer while keeping the shop running smoothly. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service with a friendly, helpful attitude.
- Serving customers on the till.
- Helping customers choose the right products and answering any questions they may have.
- Keeping up to date with our products, promotions and special offers.
- Restocking shelves, rotating stock and ensuring products are correctly priced.
- Keeping the shop and surrounding areas clean, tidy and well presented.
- Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their vehicles when needed.
- Supporting your colleagues with the day-to-day running of the shop.
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties requested by the management team.
What we're looking for
- A genuine love of dogs, pets and animals.
- At least 1 year's customer service experience.
- A friendly, approachable and positive attitude.
- Someone who is proactive and enjoys getting stuck in.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A team player who enjoys working with others.
- Experience in the pet industry is a bonus, but not essential.
The role:
- 38 hours per week
- Includes weekday and weekend shifts
- The role is active and involves being on your feet for most of the day, as well as some manual lifting.
