We are looking for a reliable and experienced company accountant and HR lead to oversee our financial operations and mange key human resources functions. This is a dual role position that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day to day accounting activities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain financial records
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare Vat returns and assist with year end accounts and audit.
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial regulations and company policies
Human Resources
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee records
- Administer employment contracts and HR documentation
- Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with employment legislation
- Support performance management and employee development
- Manage leave records, attendance and HR reporting
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR matters.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting, finance and HR
- Strong knowledge of accounting software Sage
- Excellent understanding of payroll, vat and financial reporting
- Good knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem solving skills
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Relevant accounting or HR qualifications are desirable
