Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various welding techniques, including stick welding. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
- Operate welding equipment and power tools to fabricate metal components according to specifications.
- Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to assemble parts and structures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal materials.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
- Proficiency in stick welding; additional experience with MIG or TIG welding is advantageous.
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing project requirements.
