Job Overview
Reporting to the Manufacturing manager, the Production Supervisor leads the manufacturing teams to achieve operational excellence. In this busy role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure safety standards are met, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your proactive approach will inspire teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations, achieving targets and ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently
- Lead, motivate, and support production team members to meet production goals and quality standards
- Monitor safety protocols rigorously, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment uptime and address technical issues promptly
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize workflow
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and facilitate training sessions for team development
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment with leadership responsibilities
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality assurance standards
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate across departments
- Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement solutions efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus
- Proficiency in using IT tools and production management software or related tools is required
Working Hours: Shift Rota: Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:06/14:00 - 22:06.
Overtime Cover Required: You will be required to work overtime on some weekends to suit the company output requirements.
