We are currently recruiting for an experienced PSV Technician to join a well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Rochester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Technician with hands-on experience working on PSVs, buses or coaches, looking for a stable long-term position with strong earning potential and genuine opportunities to develop their technical skills.
The Role
You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a range of PSVs, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable and compliant.
Your duties will include:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing PSVs
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out inspections and safety checks
- Preparing vehicles for MOT and compliance requirements
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
- Completing workshop records accurately
- Working efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, PSV or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working on PSVs, buses or coaches
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A reliable and professional approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to continue developing your technical skills
