The Role
As a Primary School Teacher, you will take responsibility for a class within the school, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils through an important stage of their primary education. You will plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences, promote academic progress, and nurture pupils’ personal development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Managing behaviour effectively using consistent and positive approaches
- Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress
- Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Upholding safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies
Person Specification
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be creative, adaptable, and reflective in their teaching practice
- Be kind, supportive, and committed to helping every child succeed
