If you are passionate about food and have a positive approach to developing your skills, there is no better setting than our care village to excel in your field. If you enjoy creating new ideas or feel motivated to explore different presentation techniques for our clients, you can achieve this by working within our central production kitchen or one of our kitchenettes situated within our Homes. You will feel a sense of fulfilment when a resident enjoys a cake you have made or remember the little things that are individual to our clients. Food is an important part of our lives and a fulfilling diet is imperative to our elderly clients.

Clean kitchen appropriately

Ensure stock rotation and storage
Who we’re looking for
You will be passionate about food and have experience working in a kitchen environment. You will be keen to complete relevant training and have the ability to transfer this knowledge into practical work. You will be pleasant, approachable and understanding towards your team and most importantly, our residents.

About our home
We are a care village based in Birmingham/Worcestershire. We provide care of the elderly, including Dementia care, Nursing and respite care. Set in six acres of tranquil, landscaped grounds, our unique location is accessed by a tree-lined avenue, providing a country setting, whilst enjoying the amenities of an urban location. We aspire to create an environment conducive to well being with good communication between residents, resident’s families and our team.
Who we are
Established in 1995, we are a quality care provider registered with CQC care homes in Birmingham. We work in partnership with surrounding local authorities and CCG’s to provide good quality care for the elderly.
Our overall purpose of Moundsley Hall Care Village is to provide our residents with the highest standard of care, comfort and security. Promoting independence where possible.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 31.5 per week
