Job description - Fabrication Sheet Metal Worker
Introduction
- Poppleton are looking to fill a number of sheet metal fabrication worker positions to join our dedicated, friendly and hardworking team to match our continued success.
- Full time permanent position.
- Working hours 08:00 - 16:30 (Mon-Thurs) 08:00 - 13:45 (Fri)
- Our Head Quarters and main workshop is based in Mochdre, Colwyn Bay and we have a second facility in Kinmel Bay, transport will be provided from Mochdre to Kinmel Bay site if required.

Responsibilities
- Complete all manufacturing tasks assigned by the Manufacturing/Factory Manager.
- Ensure a commitment to quality at all stages of production to include visual inspection of work stages to include final review of works.
- Fully capable of producing all fabrication work to a high quality standard.
- Compliance with company Health & Safety protocols and the desire to work safely, supporting maintenance procedures & respecting quality control.
- Ensuring good personal time keeping and work inline with Poppleton's policies and procedures.
- Interpreting drawings and specifications accurately.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Strong attention to detail.
- Be able to work on own initiative and also within the team.
- Good communication skills.
- Tidy and highly organised.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance with the mandatory use of protective clothing and equipment.
- Experience/background working within a manufacturing environment. (Desirable)
- Sheetmetal experience and/or relevant qualifications. (Desirable)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
