We’re looking for a kind, patient and reliable PA/Support Worker to join our small low turnover team supporting our children with autism, ADHD and demand avoidance.
The role involves working collaboratively with family members, other professionals, using low‑demand approaches. As a specialist PA you will provide both 1:1 support and at times support for several children in the family home and community. You will support activities, helping the child/ren feel safe, and promoting their wellbeing and regulation. You’ll need to be calm, flexible and adaptable to each child’s needs. You should be committed to an ongoing role, as long term relationship building is essential.
We’re an active family, so someone who enjoys getting stuck into outdoor adventures—zip‑lines, climbing, cycling, trampoline parks—is essential. An interest in gaming would also be a bonus.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own car with business insurance is desirable.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to interview. An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references will be required before starting the role.
Hours are after school, evenings, weekends and school holidays. Exact timings can be mutually agreed.
