The Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer is required to closely monitor the quality of adult social care services by working with providers within their portfolio area, adult social care and health professionals and other external stakeholders to ensure people who are receiving services are getting the best quality of care, that services are value for money and that providers and the wider market remain sustainable.
The applicant must have experience of Quality Assurance and Improvement in a Health and/or Social Care environment. They require excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with a range of stakeholders. They should have good organisational skills, be able to prioritise tasks and manage their own workloads to ensure team deadlines and targets are met.
This post is a 12month temporary post to cover a secondment opportunity.
