Cafe Manager – Pophams | Kentish Town | Up to £38,000 | Monday–Friday (7am–4pm)
One of London's most respected artisan bakery brands is looking for its next Cafe Manager.
We're delighted to be partnering with Pophams to recruit a Cafe Manager for their exciting first-ever residency at Spring Studios in Kentish Town.
This is a unique opportunity to launch a brand-new operation within one of London's leading creative studio spaces. Serving the businesses, studios and clients based on site, you'll play a key role in creating a hospitality experience that becomes an integral part of the creative community.
Leading a team of five, you'll have the autonomy to shape the culture, build lasting client relationships and deliver the quality, craftsmanship and service that Pophams has become renowned for.

The Role:
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the bakery and catering business
- Inspire, coach and develop a small, high-performing team
- Build strong relationships with resident businesses, B2B clients and studio customers
- Drive catering, events and commercial opportunities across the site
- Manage budgets, labour and commercial performance
- Work closely with the Pophams Executive Chef and the studio production team
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience that reflects the Pophams brand
- Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, coffee and hospitality
What we're looking for:
We're keen to speak with experienced Cafe Managers or ambitious Assistant Managers from premium cafes, bakeries or hospitality businesses who can demonstrate:
- Previous management or strong supervisory experience
- A passion for speciality coffee, artisan food and hospitality
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing and developing teams
- Strong commercial awareness
- A hands-on leadership style
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders
- The ability to create memorable customer experiences
