Job Overview
We are looking for a teacher confident in group teaching (groups of 3-6), teaching KS1 and KS2. This is a new school, this will be the first time the school has ever had music teachers. We are looking for a dedicated teacher as this school will grow in the next few years as it expands. This is not a side job, we are looing for someone committed to teaching for life.
Duties
- Provide highly technical but fun group lessons
- Prepare students for regular ensemble performances in school
- Keep a close relatinship with parents
- Work closely with our team members
- Participate in regular performance management meetings
Skills
- Experience teaching guitar to KS1 & KS2 age groups
- Strong knowledge of chords, and various playing styles (e.g., rock & pop and classical)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles and needs
- Passion for music education combined with patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple lessons efficiently while maintaining high-quality instruction
- Familiarity with music notation
Requirements
Pay: £40.00-£50.00 per hour
