The contracted hours for this role are
- Monday - Thursday 8am– 4.30pm
- Friday 8am – 2.30pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to your internal customers and handle merchandise efficiently.
- Develop thorough product knowledge to offer helpful advice and recommendations.
- Locate correct items for dispatch and ensure the inventory is managed accurately.
- Safely picking items from shelves or racking, using forklifts or machinery when necessary.
- Accurately package completed orders, to ensure no damage occurs during transit, completing relevant documentation and ensuring the order is clearly marked with customer delivery information, to ensure efficient tracking of orders.
- Assist with unloading company delivery vehicles and assisting with the distribution of goods to their correct storage locations.
- Restocking shelves or racking using items from storage areas to ensure inventories are always full.
- Communicate with colleagues regarding low stock levels and provide information on proposed stock orders, completing relevant documentation when necessary.
- Meeting picking speed, and efficiency targets as specified by Manager.

- Maintain high levels of housekeeping and ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or Operations Supervisor.
About You:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Proactive nature, forward-thinking, positive disposition, and flexible.
- Relevant product knowledge or a genuine interest in Construction or DIY.
- Previous experience gained in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
