We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Accounts Administrator to join our friendly Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, variety in your day-to-day work, and the chance to learn from an experienced team.
You’ll be based at the Box Productions office in Billericay, while dedicating half of your time to supporting the finance function for sister company True Staging. This gives you the opportunity to gain experience across two exciting businesses and develop a broad range of accounting and administration skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing invoices, payments, and data entry using Sage and any other software relevant to your role
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and posting them accurately resolving differences when they arise
- Managing supplier accounts and resolving invoice queries
- Chasing supplier invoices and credits and checking supplier statements
- Providing general administrative support to the Finance team
- Liaising with Purchasing department regarding refunds and credit notes
- Reviewing Purchase orders to make sure costs are correctly allocated
- Managing the company Accounts inboxes for Box and True
- Assisting with raising sales invoices
- Managing petty cash and associated entries
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, problem-solving, and working with numbers, while also being part of a supportive team environment.
What We’re Looking For
We value attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn just as highly as previous experience. You might be perfect for this role if you are:
- AAT Level 1 Award in Bookkeeping (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant/Accounts Administration role
- Experience using Excel and/or an interest to develop these skills
- Someone proactive who sees tasks through to completion
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using Sage
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with different departments
- Ability to work well in a deadline-driven environment
