Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen & Café Team Member who has food preparation experience and relevant food qualifications. This is a varied role that combines food preparation with customer-facing responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across all areas of a busy café.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing our menu items, including acai bowls, granola bowls, toasties, and other light food offerings, while also supporting our front-of-house team during quieter kitchen periods.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present food items to a high standard, including acai bowls, granola bowls, toasties, and other café menu items.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages as required.
- Support front-of-house operations, including serving customers, taking orders, clearing tables, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Work collaboratively with the wider café team to ensure smooth daily operations
About you
- Hold a relevant food qualification or food hygiene certification.
- Have a good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management.
- Previous experience in food preparation within a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- Friendly, approachable, and confident interacting with customers.
- Flexible and willing to support both kitchen and front-of-house duties.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.50-£14.00 per hour
