HGV Class 1 Drivers Required – Eddie Stobart (Culina Group), Dagenham RM9 6RS
We are currently recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team based at Eddie Stobart, Dagenham (RM9 6RS). This is an excellent opportunity to work for one of the UK's leading logistics providers, offering regular work, modern vehicles, and competitive rates of pay.
The Role
Drivers will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods throughout London, the South East, and surrounding regions.
Day Shift Operation
- Start times typically between 04:00 and 07:00.
- Store deliveries and RDC work.
- Usually 1–3 deliveries per shift.
Night Shift Operation
- Start times typically between 16:00 and 19:00.
- Trunking and depot-to-depot movements.
- Minimal manual handling.
Shift Lengths
- Average shift length of 10–12 hours.
- Full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts available.
- Ongoing work throughout the year.
Pay Rates (Holiday Pay Included)
- Days: £18.00 per hour
- Nights: £19.50 per hour
- Saturday: Up to £22.00 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holidays: Up to £23.99 per hour

Requirements:
- Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum 6 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- Curtain-side experience required
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations.
