Are you an experiencedand passionate Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager looking for a new challenge? Would like the chance to lead a new children's home for up to four children and young people with Emotional and Behaviourial Difficulties (EBD) in North London.

About the role.
As the Registered Manager you will lead the day-to-day operation of the home in line with the childrens homes regulations and the quality standards. You will embed strong safeguarding practises, work closely with other professionals to deliver child focused care whilst developing a skilled and competent staff team.
Core responsbilities include:
- Lead the day-to-day management of the home.
- Create a safe, nuturing and therapeutic environment.
- Ensuring children and young people receive individualised care and are heard.
- Promoting children and young people's safety, wellbeing and development.
- Ensure robust safeguarding processes are in place and that children and young people feel a sense of safety and security.
- Recruit, manage and develop an exceptional staff team, through strong leadership and a supportive working environment.
- Maintaining quality of care, management oversight and driving improvement.
- Ensure appropriate care planning, monitoring and recording systems are in place.
- Building professional relationships with the children's wider team and familiies.
Requirements
- Previous Experience as a Registered Manager or an Deputy Manager ready to step into a Registered Manager role.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (minimum).
- Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification ( working towards/ completed)
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, quality standards and safeguarding practise.
- Experience supporting children and young people with SEMH/EBD needs.
- Excellent leadership, communication and people management skiils.
- Experience of staff supervision, development and performamace management
- Strong organisational and decision making abilities.
- Right to work
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
Desirable
- Experience opening a new children's home.
- Experience of Good or outstanding inspections.
- Therapeutic or trauma-informed training .
