We are seeking an experienced and proactive Golf Course Manager to oversee the day-to-day management, presentation, and maintenance of our 27-hole golf course. The successful candidate will lead the greenkeeping team, ensure exceptional course conditions, manage budgets and maintenance schedules, and maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operation and maintenance of the golf course.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the greenkeeping team.
- Plan and implement maintenance programme and seasonal projects.
- Monitor budgets, machinery, irrigation systems, and course improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental standards.
- Work closely with the General Manager to deliver an outstanding golfing experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience managing a golf course or senior greenkeeping operation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of turf management, irrigation, and machinery.
- Budget management and planning experience.
- PA1, PA2 and PA6 certificates (preferred).
- Full UK driving licence.
