Ace Handling is an independent company based in the Midlands that specialises in providing high-quality refurbished forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. Currently, we are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our growing team.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will work with a range of Materials Handling Equipment including small pallet trucks, IC trucks, and warehouse VNA trucks. Your day-to-day role will involve identifying, diagnosing, and rectifying faults, carrying out thorough examinations, and performing preventative maintenance servicing at our customer sites.
Ideally, we prefer candidates from a forklift truck background who possess strong technical knowledge of various brands and models. However, candidates from other backgrounds such as Plant, HGV, Powered Access Equipment, Agricultural Machinery or a Motor Vehicle background are also welcome to apply.
To be successful in this role, you should have the ability to work independently and within a team, good communication skills, excellent customer-facing skills and the ability to work to a high standard. You must also hold a full UK driving licence.
