Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their wellbeing. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalised care and attentive service. We do not provide sponsorship for homecare service.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and daily routines in accordance with individual care plans
- Encourage social interaction and participation in activities to promote mental and emotional wellbeing
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Drive clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to deliver cohesive care
- Use IT systems to update care records and document relevant information accurately
Requirements
- Valid driving licence and own a car
- Previous experience is not esential as training can be provided
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.45-£14.00 per hour
