We are looking for an enthusiastic, capable and reliable tutor to join our growing tutoring service, providing face-to-face tuition to children across the Dulwich area.
This role would suit an experienced teacher, qualified tutor or exceptional university student who enjoys working with children and can make learning engaging, structured and enjoyable.
Areas Covered
You will be required to travel to students across:
- Forest Hill
- East Dulwich
- Dulwich Village
- Nunhead
- West Dulwich
- Surrounding areas
Being able to reliably travel around these areas is essential. You will be working with students in their homes or at other agreed local locations.
What You'll Teach
You will provide tuition across:
- KS1 Maths & English
- KS2 Maths & English
- 7+ preparation
- 11+ preparation
Students will have different abilities and learning needs, so we are looking for someone who can adapt their approach while maintaining a clear and structured style of teaching.
Who We're Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates who are:
- Experienced teachers or tutors
- Exceptional university students with strong academic results
- Confident teaching Maths and English
- Comfortable working with children aged approximately 5–11
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Able to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Friendly, approachable and able to build a good relationship with children
- Passionate about helping children achieve their potential
- Comfortable travelling between locations in and around Dulwich
Previous experience with teaching children would be highly desirable.

Requirements
Essential:

- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Teaching or tutoring experience
- Experience preparing students for 7+ or 11+
- Degree or current university study
- DBS certificate
