Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, Agency Supply (with potential for a long-term or permanent position)
Salary: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils in the classroom, both individually and in small groups, to help them achieve their full potential.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Support children with varying learning needs, including those with SEND where required.
- Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
- Prepare classroom resources and assist with day-to-day classroom activities.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting.
- Is patient, caring, and passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can work effectively as part of a team and use their initiative.
- Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
