Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify faults and issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine work, brake repairs, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs and servicing.
- Test vehicles post-repair to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used.
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics using specialised equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with the organisation of the workshop to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle repair or maintenance.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling parts or equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance or engineering are desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and customers effectively.

Pay: £52,000.00 per year
