Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate One to One Support Worker to provide personalised assistance to a loving 2 year old with special educational needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the child requiring tailored support, fostering their development and ensuring their safety within our nursery. Duties
- Deliver personalised support to child with diverse needs.
- Assist with daily activities such as communication, mobility, personal care
- Implement tailored programmes based on individualised education plans (IEPs) or care plans.
- Support during educational activities, play sessions, and social interactions to promote inclusion and engagement.
- Foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages independence and confidence.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adapt support strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, progress notes, and observations.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children with additional needs would be desirable
- Prior experience in teaching/ nursery or special education settings is advantageous.
- Knowledge of working with children across various age groups, including toddlers.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals of all abilities and backgrounds.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting children's development.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education or child development are preferred but not essential.

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per year
