We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Nuclear Medicine team at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary, Wigan. We are a busy, single‑camera department delivering approximately 1,800 patient examinations each year, providing a range of both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The service covers general Nuclear Medicine, alongside specialised orthopaedic and cardiac studies.
As a Band 7 Deputy Lead Radiographer, the post holder will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality, efficient, and effective Nuclear Medicine service at RAEI. This includes assisting the Lead Radiographer with the operational management of the department and providing leadership cover in their absence, ensuring continuity of service and maintaining clinical and governance standards.
