The Role
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you'll make a genuine difference to the lives of vulnerable children and young people by providing a safe, nurturing and supportive environment.
You'll work alongside experienced care teams to promote positive outcomes, encourage independence and help young people reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children and young people with their daily routines
- Building positive, trusting relationships
- Promoting emotional wellbeing, confidence and independence
- Supporting education, appointments and community activities
- Managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour support techniques
- Following safeguarding procedures and maintaining accurate records
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding care

What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from you if you've worked as a:
- Children's Residential Support Worker
- Support Worker
- Residential Childcare Worker
- Youth Support Worker
- Care Worker
- Mental Health Support Worker
- Learning Disabilities Support Worker
You'll ideally have:
- Experience supporting children or young people within a residential or supported living environment
- A caring, resilient and professional approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and delivering high-quality care
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts where required
A full UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential.
