About the Role:
Gedling Village Care Home is seeking an experienced Registered Manager on a temporary basis to provide leadership and operational management in the absence of our permanent Home Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
- Lead, motivate, and support the care and nursing teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Manage staffing, rotas, and recruitment as needed
- Ensure robust safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control practices
- Maintain excellent communication with residents, families, and external professionals
- Complete required audits, action plans, and quality assurance activities
- Support and guide staff, providing supervision and development opportunities
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in managing a residential or nursing care home
- Up-to-date knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external partners
- Flexibility to commit to a temporary role for up to 3 months
