Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. We are carrying out a full house refurbishment with a basement excavation and fit-out. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with ground works including basement excavation and landscape.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators under supervision to support construction or landscaping projects
- Perform routine site cleanup, material handling, and debris removal to maintain a safe work environment
- Follow safety protocols at all times and report any hazards or incidents promptly
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites or landscaping environments
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully
- Valid driver’s license is an asset but not mandatory
Pay: £12.71-£18.48 per hour
