We are a distribution company supplying materials to the print and sign industry for over 20 years. We have recently become part of Grimco, a well-established North American Company. Our focus is on distributing quality products and providing excellent service by offering, substrates, boards, digital print media, wrap films and sign vinyl.
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken inside sales representative to join our sales team. The inside sales representative will be responsible for order entry and maintenance, developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to close sales and meet targets.
To be successful as an inside sales representative you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. A top inside sales representative should also be very competitive and a good listener.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work as the primary point of contact for incoming calls.
- Create and maintain a strong rapport with all customers.
- Manage customer account details, process orders, facilitate returns, resolve issues, and track order inquiries.
- Work with External Sales Representatives to create and implement target sales strategies.
- Respond to and resolve all customer calls, questions, and emails promptly.
- Help troubleshoot customer orders, customer accounts, and other related issues.
- Co-ordinate and manage paper flow for orders taken by colleagues in other branches for our customers.
- Communicate and co-ordinate leads and opportunities with appropriate teams.
- Proactively stay in touch with our customers, nurture relationships, follow up on customers’ needs to confirm all business opportunities.
- Respond to our customer inquiries concerning products, their uses, distribution, and provide the best solutions for their projects and applications.
- Maintain consistent knowledge of Pyramid’s product lines and other popular industry products and brands.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Computer literate – Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 inc. Excel and Microsoft Word
- Self-Starter: have ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- To work collaboratively as part of a wider team
- Able to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, learn new tasks and skills, and willingness to what is necessary to get the job done right
- Work hard & smart—never satisfied with the status quo
- Possess high expectations of what can be accomplished by self & team
- Ability to thrive under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience in customer service and/or inside sales
- Completed qualifications from an accredited college/university
Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Business Central experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service in the distribution industry.
- Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems.
- Strong desire to help and serve others in your team
- Strong desire to help serve customers
- Strong active listening skills
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment
- Competency in MS Office Suite
- Sales experience in West Yorkshire is a plus
