We are seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Team Leader to manage a team within our fast-paced warehouse operations within the FMCG / Food sector at our Bury depot. Location: Based at Bury (Head Office)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday 20.00 – 04.00
Reports to: Nights Shift Manager
Salary: up to £29,000
Job Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader/ Supervisor (Nights) to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy. The successful candidate will manage a pick and loading team in a fast-paced environment. The position is suitable for candidates eager to develop their managerial expertise within a dynamic organisation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities for the pick team including order assignment and stock queries
- Organise forklift operations, including loading and unloading goods safely using appropriate mechanical knowledge
- Work with the transport team to ensure all vehicles are loaded in a timely fashion
- Ensure all invoice paperwork is correctly printed and ready for the drivers to use for their daily routes
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Lead, motivate and support the warehouse team to achieve daily targets
- Oversee pick operations ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all warehouse procedures and health and safety standards are followed
- Train and support warehouse staff to maintain high standards
- Check vehicles for loading accuracy
Skills and Experience Required
Essential
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within a logistics or distribution environment
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation

- Physical capability for heavy lifting tasks and standing for extended periods during shifts.
- A positive, reliable and hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
Desirable
- Counter-Balance and Reach Truck Licence
