We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a new Children's Residential Home in Leicester, supporting 3 young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The Role
Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day operation of the home and ensure consistently high standards of care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day management of the home
- Leading and supporting the residential staff team
- Leading shifts and maintaining high standards of practice
- Supporting children and young people with EBD
- Maintaining excellent safeguarding standards
- Overseeing care plans and risk assessments
- Supporting staff supervision, development and performance
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
- Supporting compliance with Ofsted requirements and Children's Homes Regulations
- Working effectively with families, Local Authorities and external professionals
- Promoting positive outcomes for young people
What We're Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
- Previous experience within an Ofsted-regulated Children's Residential Home
- Experience at Deputy Manager, Team Leader or strong Senior Support Worker level
- Experience supporting children or young people with EBD
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
- Experience leading and supporting residential staff
- Good understanding of Children's Homes Regulations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent is highly desirable.
Candidates already working as a Deputy Manager are particularly encouraged to apply. Strong Team Leaders/Senior Support Workers ready for management progression may also be considered.

Pay: £35,420.00-£40,371.94 per year
