We are seeking a reliable, vigilant and professional Relief Security Officer to support our existing security team at a single client site.
You will help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, contractors, visitors and the client, responding promptly to incidents and providing a visible, professional security presence at all times.
The role would suit a flexible, approachable and dependable individual who can adapt to changing operational requirements and remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
The Role
- Responsible for the physical security of client premises
- Conduct regular patrols
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action
- Enforce access control and verify the identity of individuals on-site
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting and guiding visitors
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
- Ensure high standards at all times, maintaining the professional image of ISS
- Undertake induction and training as needed
- Promote a secure and safe working environment at client sites
About You
- Valid SIA licence
- Proven experience in security or related field
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights and weekends
- New recruits will be encouraged to enrol onto the relevant apprenticeship as part of their training and development
