Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HGV Class 2 Driver with specialised experience as a Jet Vac Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class 2 heavy goods vehicle equipped with jet vacuum technology to carry out essential waste management and drainage services. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle fitted with jet vac equipment for various waste removal, drainage, and jetting tasks.
- Conduct pre-use and post-use vehicle inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and operational readiness.
- Execute precise delivery and collection of waste materials or drainage services at multiple customer sites, adhering to schedules and safety protocols.
- Manage the operation of jet vac machinery, including setup, operation, and shutdown procedures, ensuring optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all jobs performed, including service reports, delivery logs, and vehicle inspection records.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate schedules and address any operational issues promptly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently, including the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe driving practices.
Experience
- Valid HGV Class 2 license with a clean driving record.
- Drainage experience required
- Proven experience operating commercial vehicles in a delivery or service environment.
- Hands-on experience with jet vac or similar vacuum excavation equipment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to commercial driving and waste management operations.
- Familiarity with flatbed transportation or other specialized vehicle types is a plus.
- Delivery driver experience demonstrating punctuality, reliability, and excellent customer service skills.
