Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly Bar Staff/Waitress to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. This role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Taking orders accurately and efficiently from customers
- Serving food and beverages in a courteous and timely manner
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas
- Handling cash transactions and operating POS systems with basic maths skills
- Assisting in setting up tables and clearing after service
- Maintaining knowledge of menu items, including specials and dietary options
- Adhering to food safety standards and health & safety regulations
- Providing excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Managing multiple tables during busy periods with effective time management
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or bar service is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards is desirable
- Strong serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a personable attitude
