Position: School Cleaner – Selborne – 10 hours per week
Goldcrest Cleaning Services is a well-established commercial cleaning and building maintenance company based in Waterlooville, operating across Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex. We’re currently recruiting one Cleanersto join our evening cleaning team at a client site in Selborne.
Working hours
- Monday to Friday 4:30pm – 6:30pm
- Total: 10 hours per week
The role
Working as part of a team of two, you’ll complete daily cleaning duties to a high standard, helping to ensure the site is clean, safe, and ready for use the next day. Tasks will include:
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning Classrooms and office areas
- Cleaning kitchens and welfare areas
- Cleaning toilets and washrooms
All cleaning materials and equipment are provided on site. Uniform (T-shirts and jacket) is also provided.
Training and support
At Goldcrest, we invest in our people and provide the tools, training, and support needed to succeed. Full training will be provided, although previous cleaning experience is preferred.
Security and compliance requirements
Due to the safeguarding nature of working within a school environment:
- You must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check (Goldcrest will apply and pay for this, provided the successful applicant remains in post for a minimum of six months).
Person specification
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Organised and able to work methodically
- Detail-focused, with consistently high standards
- Self-motivated and able to work as part of a small team
- Eligible to live and work in the UK
- Able to provide a proven cleaning track record (preferred)
- Willing to undertake occasional overtime when required
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
