Job Title: 360 Machine Operator & Shovel Driver
Location: Edmonton
Employment Type: Monday to Friday (45 hours/week)
Overtime available Saturdays
Shift Times:
Day Shift: 6AM - 15:00PM
Late Shift: 15:00PM - Midnight
Salary: Start £18/ph
Reporting to: Site Supervisor / Plant Manager
**HIRING 360 AND SHOVEL DRIVERS** EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION INDUSTRY PREFERRED

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate 360-degree excavators (tracked and/or wheeled) safely and efficiently
- Sort, move, and load waste and recyclable materials (e.g., metals, plastics, rubble, wood)
- Feed processing machinery and vehicles with appropriate materials
- Conduct daily checks and routine maintenance of the machine
- Follow site operational procedures and safety protocols at all times
- Communicate with site staff and vehicle drivers to coordinate movements and loads
- Monitor material quality and report contamination or anomalies
- Support other site duties as required, including manual labour when necessary
Essential Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator Licence
- Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a waste, recycling, or construction environment
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding outdoor environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible approach to working hours, including possible weekends and overtime
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a waste management or recycling facility
- Additional plant tickets (e.g., loading shovel, telehandler)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for identifying faults or maintenance needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £18.00-£21.00 per hour
