IN SHORT
As an English and Maths Skills Coach, you will be supporting and accelerating the development and progress of our students’ English and Maths skills while studying with Milton Keynes College. You will be supporting individuals and small groups of students that need additional support in English and Maths alongside supporting classes that need cover.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic team player who shares our passion for success in English and Maths and can communicate this to students who may well have had a negative experience of these subjects previously. While promoting a positive learning culture, you will ensure that the curriculum is delivered in a relevant, employment focused way that engages students. Being able to deliver effectively and enthusiastically in 1-1, small groups and to whole class groups is a must. Working in collaboration with the wider curriculum team you will deliver an excellent teaching and learning experience is essential.
