We are seeking a skilled and motivated Joiner to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. As a Joiner, you will play a vital role in creating, installing, and repairing structures using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to accurately execute joinery tasks
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install woodwork components such as doors, windows, cabinetry, and framing with precision
- Use hand tools, power tools to complete various construction tasks efficiently
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of structural elements
- Perform heavy lifting safely to move materials and components into position during installation or repair work
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety protocols
Experience
- Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter in residential or commercial construction environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to building techniques and materials
- Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers; power tools including drills and saws
- Knowledge of roofing systems and techniques is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during project execution
- Familiarity with safety standards related to construction sites and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pay: £27.50 per hour
