Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, pastries, and other morning specialties.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in menu planning and suggest new breakfast dishes to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and excellent guest experiences.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs for replenishment to management.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to create a safe working environment for all team members.
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques specific to breakfast dishes.
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and hygiene standards required in professional kitchens.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, especially in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests.
- Basic understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles related to food presentation.

The position is on a £108 hour monthly contract at NMW
