Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Centre Attendant to join our vibrant team in Carryduff Business Park!
This role involves supervising children in a safe, engaging environment and ensuring they have an enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have confident communication skills, along with a genuine passion for working with children. Previous childcare or nursery experience, along with early childhood education knowledge, will be highly valued but not required. Responsibilities
- Supervise children within the play centre, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the centre, adhering to health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a welcoming environment
- Assist daily operations of the play centre, including opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with special events or themed days to enhance children's experience
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Uphold policies related to childcare, safety, and behaviour management
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in childcare, nursery, or early childhood education settings is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required.
- Demonstrated organisational skills to manage daily routines efficiently.
- Passionate about child development and creating a safe, fun environment for children
- Barista and hospitality experience prefered but not a requirement
