The Role
Arc Potential is working with an established contractor looking to strengthen its project delivery team with an experienced Electrical Project Manager from an electrical, M&E or main contractor background.
Based from Falkirk, the role will oversee projects across Central Scotland, predominantly Edinburgh and Glasgow. The business has a strong pipeline of upcoming work, creating a good opportunity for someone looking for long-term project exposure and room to develop.
Responsibilities
You will manage electrical projects from start through to handover across sectors including healthcare, education, retail, commercial and industrial.
Project values range from around £400k to several million pounds, offering a good mix of project size and complexity.
- Manage electrical projects from start through to handover
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers, materials and project programmes
- Monitor progress, costs, variations and commercial performance
- Review drawings, specifications and technical requirements
- Resolve technical and delivery issues as they arise
- Maintain clear communication with clients, site teams and project stakeholders
- Oversee quality, health and safety, testing and commissioning
- Manage defect resolution, closeout and handover documentation
- Keep multiple live projects progressing to programme
Skills & Experience
You will be an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a background working for an electrical contractor, M&E contractor or main contractor, delivering similar commercial and industrial projects. Experience managing multiple live projects would be highly beneficial.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical installations and building services
- Confidence leading site teams and managing subcontractors
- Good commercial awareness, including project costs and variations
- Strong organisation, planning and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across live projects
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
