Treasurer Trustee (Voluntary role) – Art & Soul
Art & Soul is looking for a Treasurer Trustee to join our board and help shape the next chapter of a creative charity with a 20+ year track record of improving mental health through the arts.
We deliver workshops, exhibitions and creative experiences led by experienced practitioners, including art therapists and art practitioners, helping people feel less isolated, more confident and more connected.
This is an opportunity to use your financial skills in a meaningful way — supporting a much-valued local charity to remain financially strong, well governed and able to grow its impact at a time when mental health support is needed more than ever.

What you’ll bring
We are looking for someone with:
- accounting, finance or equivalent financial management experience
- confidence reviewing management accounts, budgets, cashflow and reserves
- the ability to present financial information clearly and helpfully to the board
- willingness to support the Chair and Programme Director on financial matters
- awareness of fundraising and income generation
- charity finance would be helpful, but is not essential
Previous trustee or Treasurer experience is welcome, but not necessary. Support and induction will be provided.

Commitment
- Four board meetings a year, held online
- Around 4–6 hours per month, including preparation and occasional support
- Attendance at least one Art & Soul event each year
- Opportunity to observe an initial board meeting as a guest, so both you and Art & Soul can decide whether it feels like the right fit
