Tiny Toes Nursery are looking for a new Childcare Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Educator apprenticeship L3.
Wage dependent on Age - £8 for 16-18 Year Olds, £10.85 for 18 Year Olds, £12.75 for anyone 21+
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support the effective day-to-day operation of the nursery, working collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality early years education and care.
- Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Promote a safe, secure, nurturing, and inclusive environment that supports the wellbeing and development of all children.
- Foster children's learning and development through engaging play-based activities that meet individual developmental needs.
- Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with children, parents/carers, colleagues, and external professionals where appropriate.
- Observe, assess, and accurately record children's learning and developmental progress in accordance with nursery procedures and EYFS requirements.
- Adhere to all safeguarding, child protection, health and safety, and welfare policies, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
- Ensure compliance with statutory EYFS requirements, nursery policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Support children with additional learning needs and disabilities (SEND), working alongside colleagues and external agencies where required to promote inclusive practice.
- Work effectively as part of a professional team to maintain an organised, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment.
- Contribute positively to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and supporting the development of nursery activities, resources, and practice.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the nursery's values, policies, and professional standards in all aspects of the role.
- Participate in training, supervision, staff meetings, and continuous professional development to enhance knowledge and practice.
Pay: £16,640.00-£26,436.80 per year
