About the Role
Dayco Cleaning is looking for a reliable and experienced Communal Cleaner to maintain a modern residential development in Hemel Hempstead.
You will be responsible for ensuring the communal areas remain clean, safe and well presented, delivering a high standard of service for residents every visit.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Vacuuming communal corridors, entrance areas and landings
- Mopping stairwells and hard floors
- Cleaning lifts, including floors, mirrors, walls and control panels
- Spot cleaning carpets, walls and doors
- Cleaning internal glazing
- Dusting skirting boards, ledges, door frames and fixtures
- Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch points, including door handles, push plates, intercoms and light switches
- Removing cobwebs from communal areas
- Cleaning and sanitising the management office, kitchenette and toilet facilities
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Sweeping and deodorising the bin store
- Sweeping the bike store and removing cobwebs
- Sweeping external communal areas and litter picking
- Carrying out visual inspections and reporting any maintenance or health & safety concerns to management.
Essential Requirements
- Previous communal or commercial cleaning experience
- Good spoken English
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- High attention to detail and pride in maintaining excellent standards
Immediate start available. Uniform and equipment provided.
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
