The Role
As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will reside in the client's home during your placement and provide personalised support tailored to their individual needs. You will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing while offering companionship and practical assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support with daily living activities
- Assisting with medication administration and reminders
- Supporting mobility and helping clients remain active
- Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition and hydration
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Accompanying clients to appointments and social activities where required
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
- Supporting clients in maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous care experience required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, reliable and professional approach to care
- Ability to work independently and adapt to clients' individual needs
- Available for an immediate start
