We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Area Manager to lead a group of Papa John's stores across the Glasgow area.
This is a hands-on multi-site leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to get the best from people and has a strong commercial mindset.
You’ll work closely with our Store Managers and their teams, spending most of your time in stores; coaching, developing, challenging and supporting our people to deliver excellent customer service, strong operational standards and sustainable sales and profit growth.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the day-to-day performance of multiple Papa John's stores across the Glasgow area.
- Coaching, supporting and developing Store Managers and their management teams.
- Recruiting and developing great people while building a strong pipeline of future managers to open new stores in the area.
- Driving sales growth and identifying opportunities to improve individual store performance.
- Managing key business costs including labour, food costs, stock, waste and other controllable expenses.
- Reviewing store KPIs and turning performance data into clear action plans.
- Ensuring stores consistently meet Papa John's brand and operational standards.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, health & safety, cleanliness and compliance.
- Improving customer satisfaction, service times, product quality and order accuracy.
- Supporting labour scheduling to ensure stores have the right people in the right place at the right time.
- Conducting regular store visits, performance reviews and operational audits.
- Supporting local store marketing and sales-building activity.
- Holding Store Managers accountable while giving them the coaching and support they need to succeed.
- Creating a positive, energetic and performance-focused culture across the area.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous multi-site management experience within QSR, takeaway/delivery, restaurant, hospitality or a similar fast-paced environment.
- A proven track record of managing and developing Managers.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing sales, labour, food costs and profitability.
- Excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills.
- The ability to analyse KPIs and quickly identify where action is required.
- High operational standards and strong attention to detail.
- A customer-first approach and a passion for delivering great service.
- The confidence to make decisions, solve problems and hold people accountable.
- A can-do attitude, not afraid of putting hours in. This is not a 9-5 Job. Not watching the clock.
- Flexibility to work across different stores and at different times according to the needs of the business.
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel regularly between stores.
Experience with Papa John's, Domino’s, Pizza Hut or another multi-site QSR/delivery brand would be a strong advantage.
What we offer:
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Starting from £35,000+ depending on experience, plus OTE Bonus £10,000
