We are looking for a confident, customer‑focused Sales Assistant / Bra Fitter to join our busy Lingerie Department in our Romsey store.
Our department supports women of all ages, including customers who have undergone surgery. The role requires empathy, discretion, and a warm, reassuring manner to ensure every customer feels comfortable and supported throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and confident bra fitting
- Carry out post‑surgery bra fitting with sensitivity and care
- Serve customers and offer knowledgeable, attentive assistance
- Handle customer queries in a calm and professional manner
- Process deliveries to departmental standards
- Support stock replenishment and assist with stock counts
- Complete basic administrative tasks using Excel and Word
- Contribute to visual merchandising and maintain a well‑presented department
- Assist with stocktaking
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience — essential for understanding the pace and expectations of the role
- Fully flexible availability — able to work any day between 9:00am and 5:30pm
- Ability to work three 5‑hour shifts per week, including regular Saturdays
- Strong attention to detail
- A positive, proactive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable lifting boxes of clothing
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to the pace and changing needs of the department
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Bra fitting experience preferred (training can be provided)
